Yesterday GEMS was able to donate two Lifepak 12’s and necessary additional equipment accessories to the Boulder City Hospital ER! CEO Sam Scheller personally delivered the equipment and even provided some impromptu hands on education for the ER staff.
Lifepak 12’s are pieces of equipment that are used to monitor heart rhythms and Carbon Dioxide output as well as some other additional features.
For those of you that don’t know, Boulder City Hospital is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to providing compassionate, quality care for their patients and the communities they serve.
